I've had quite a few new follows in the last couple days which spurred from a comment on our local Valley City community page.
If you're new here, thank you for the follow! I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and share a little!
My name is Sara Robinson, and I'm the face behind Buttercreme Brulee! My husband Laquone and I have been married 12 years, and we have 2 Brittany Spaniel dogs that keep us busy. Laquone is the head Track and Field/Cross Country coach at VCSU, and I work full time as the Senior Director of Student Engagement at UJ.
Buttercreme Brulee started because in college I was inspired to craft a traditional Brittish cake for a friend of mine (a Battenberg cake, if you're curious!). After accomplishing that labor of love, I realized how much I enjoyed baking and being a part of special moments and celebrations in the lives of others.
Cupcakes are my forte- I have the most experience with them, and enjoy baking them the most! I do custom orders in basic or gourmet flavors. You can customize the filling, frosting flavor, colors, and any special sprinkles or decorations. I use only American buttercreme frosting and do not work with fondant.
I have recently expanded to small round cakes- 6 or 8 inches. Usually 2 to 3 layers. I have less experience in this, but have made many small cakes for weddings and other special occasions.
I also make cream cheese mints and have done chocolate truffles too!
