💜 A Love Letter to Our Hornet Community 💜

Seven years ago, Hornet Nutrition started in a tiny corner inside office — just a few days a week, big dreams, and a whole lot of faith.

From there we moved down that “weird hallway” (aka our little speakeasy era 😅), and then into our very own brick-and-mortar on Main Street.

Every step of the way, this community showed up.
You showed up for my family.
You showed up for our employees.
You showed up for this dream.

My heart is so full thinking about the love and support you’ve poured into us over the years. What started as a small vision turned into something so much bigger because of YOU.

Over the last year, Mandy has taken care of this club and this community like it was her own — because to her, it truly is. Her leadership, heart, and consistency have been such a gift.

With that said, we’ve made the decision to officially pass ownership of Hornet Nutrition to Mandy. And I can’t think of anyone better to carry this forward. She loves you all fiercely, and she will continue serving this community in the same amazing way — now at a brand new location at 124 Meridian! 🎉

We are SO excited for what’s ahead.

And don’t worry… you’ll still see me around from time to time. This community has meant too much to me to ever fully step away. Who knows — I may even pop in for a surprise shift behind the bar one day 😉💜

From the bottom of my heart — thank you for seven beautiful years.

Saturday is our last day open. Owning a small business has been one crazy ride but I am forever grateful for the experience and all the relationships that have come from it. Thank you for supporting my dream over the past 5 years 💜

I am also grateful for the connections I have made with other small businesses in our community. On our last day I really wanted to make sure and support them. So on Saturday we will be giving away gift cards to some of the local businesses we love in Valley 💜

I made sure to add extra festive gluten free items like my handmade-dipped white chocolate Oreos & dark chocolate peppermint cremes.

I also found a beautiful Marbled Pesto goat cheese that is SO tasty!

Not Bakery related but every year my husband and I host this event for our VCHS After Prom. If you ever wanted to go to an Adult Prom this event is for you! It is such a fun night and would make an AMAZING Christmas gift for that hard to buy for person. Grab your friends or your partner and come join us!

The 4th Annual Valley Center Snow Ball is happening on Saturday January 24th and needs your support!

Proceeds from this event each year benefit the Valley Center High School After Prom. The After Prom allows a safe space for our local students to have fun after their Junior/Senior Prom.

Come out and enjoy a fun night of music and dancing all while supporting a great cause!

❄️ The event will take place at LeVenue located at 109 W. Main in Valley Center

❄️ Doors will open at 7:00pm

❄️ Light Charcuterie Style Snacks and Dessert will be provided

❄️ There will be a cash bar available by Xclusive Events to purchase drinks. Water and iced tea will be provided.

❄️ There will be a photographer on site at the beginning of the night to capture your photos. They will be available to download following the event.
