Hello everyone,

Things have been quiet for the past 7 months as I adapt to caring for my husband while also juggling the other obstacles life has to offer.

Unfortunately the cost of ingredients has still not come down substantially so baking for additional income is no longer a viable option.

I've tried to find a work from home position to be able to stay home with Scott and care for him while also working but that has also been an uphill climb. So, I decided to completely change my thinking as to what a job should be and go into a field that I'm passionate about. One that gives me the freedom to work from home, the cancer center, cities with larger cancer centers and also enjoy vacations and bucket list adventures! I have been working hard for months to become a Certified Travel Advisor!

Hello everyone!

I know I’ve been quiet lately, I haven’t disappeared, I’m still here.

This household is currently fighting cancer so there isn’t much time for baking these days.

I’m still here and hopeful to be able to get back to baking soon. I’m just not sure how far away “soon” might be 🤷🏻‍♀️

Today is a little bittersweet…

This was my final delivery to Valatie Bar & Grill.

It was an amazing year and I enjoyed turning out delicious desserts for everyone to enjoy each week, but it just isn’t possible anymore. I’ve been trying to wait out grocery prices; those aren’t coming down and continue to rise. I would have to raise my prices which would lead to higher dessert menu prices. Less than ideal situation.

On Friday, I drove to Troy to pick up my The Peach Truck peaches and these are beautiful, ripe and extremely juicy! Brings me back to the days of living in NC and the wonderful peaches at the farmers market 😀

I‘m back!

Took a break from social media for awhile but things are getting exciting and we have local fresh fruit again. 🥳❤️

Today, I had the incredible opportunity of picking raspberries at The Chatham Berry Farm LLC and they are amazing! I’m so excited to get these packed up and most into the freezer for when it’s no longer raspberry season; I will definitely be using some for baking this week 🤤stay tuned for what I’ve made coming soon!

I hope you are all following The Berry Farm so you can pick your own pesticide free berries too. I love these berries sooooo much! The season will be opening in July ❤️
