We are open only 4 days, 22 hours a week, but our desserts sell out almost every single day… which means there is no “day off” behind the scenes. 🥐🍰
We are truly a team of two in the kitchen. My husband is a chef and I am a pastry chef, but once we open our doors my role quickly becomes a sous chef right beside him while also keeping up with desserts and cake orders.☺️
My shift usually starts at 10 AM on weekdays and around 7 AM on weekends, and many nights it doesn’t end until 4 in the morning, and sometimes even later if I have cake orders. My husband is the opposite. He gets up early and leaves early. We don’t have prep people or a big team. It’s just us.☺️
We make our bread, hamburger buns, pita bread, burgers, cakes, desserts and more. Everything is prepared fresh in-house.☺️
It’s exhausting, stressful, and nonstop… but also incredibly rewarding. Seeing empty trays at the end of the day and knowing our customers enjoyed everything we made with love and care makes all the hard work worth it. ❤️ People really love fresh, and that’s exactly what we do.🫶🏼
