This was such a special order. A sweet customer asked me to help her with a gender reveal for her family. Two of these mini jammy tarts had blueberry jam and two had strawberry jam. I put two of one flavor in box A and two of the other in box B, and when I was sent the results, before even the mom to be(!), I sent a message to her for which box to open first. (I triple checked my notes so as to not mess this up 😂)

Hi! I realize that I have some newer followers who found me during my market season with Nutty Brown and Ranch 101, so I wanted to give an idea how to order from me in the off season!
I generally take orders through DM here and bake for pick ups between T-Friday. In addition to my menu, I offer a few specials which can also be found on my website and in stories/tiles here. I require a few days notice depending on the size of the order, and most items have an order amount requirement, also listed on my website. From time to time, I might post a hotplate order or pop up, but I will be sure to give advance notice for that, AND last but not least, you can expect me to be popping up with the flower ladies again for 2025! (End of March-ish) Super excited to be selling alongside them again this year. ❤️🙏

Switching up my scones this week. I usually save these for December, but I’m feeling the need for some bright holiday cheer in the form of carb.
Cream Scones with fresh and dried Cranberries, Orange Zest, house made Cranberry Jam and a Vanilla Orange Glaze. (Not pictured 😝)
Available at the Holiday Market this Saturday from 9-1 at the Nutty Brown Barn. Same location as the cabin but just follow the gravel road, past the cows grazing in the meadow and across the creek. Sounds perfect, doesn’t it?

Our Story

I have worked as a professional pastry chef and baker for 15 of the last 22 years. I started my journey as a bread baker while baking cakes for friends and family on the side. I created goodcake. as a result of my early cake adventures, with my focus on creating something of great quality without all the fuss. (hence goodcake,period.) I went to pastry school at the C.I.A in Napa Valley, took a 7 year hiatus to have kiddos and bake for them and now, I am happily getting back into the swing of things. This page chronicles my baking adventures. Most recently, I have taken on Sourdough bread. I have found myself circling back to where it all began for me, and I had forgotten just how much baking bread speaks to me. Despite my recent shift in focus from cakes to bread, I am sticking with the goodcake. name for now, because while cake is cake and bread is bread, I believe that breaking bread can be a reason to celebrate too.
