6/29/19 - 07/02/25 | Hi, y’all! I’ve gotten a few DM’s here asking for cakes & thought I’d update those wondering where I’ve been. 𝗜 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗜 𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝘆’𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹.
While I have loved creating custom cakes for all of your special moments, from birthdays, baby showers, engagements to weddings — 𝘐 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘯𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘧. I lost a lot of who I wanted to be in the hustle of doing what’s trending simply because it sells. So, while I have enjoyed 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 I have created since the day this started to what it grew to, 𝑰 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝒄𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒆. So, thank you for choosing me & for trusting me. For allowing me to rely on butter baby bakery to be my primary source of income for years, if it wasn’t for your orders & belief in me — I would’ve never had that freedom. I will always owe every ounce of goodness that came from this to y’all & I’m grateful I can remember butter baby bakery in that light.
With that said, “𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔” and here comes my new baby: ! 🥹
That Butter Spot will focus on being a travel pop-up bakery serving up Filipino & Asian inspired pastries & a limited selection of pre-designed cakes while also reselling thoughtfully curated vintage treasures! It’s always been a dream of mine to combine my two loves & I am so excited to do just that.
If you know me, you know I love thrifting & my home is filled with antique cups, plates, trinkets & midcentury modern furniture. So, it just felt so effortless & meant to be, to just simply combine the two things I love most.
