Standing in front of the small 3-bedroom apartment where my parents raised 8 children brings back so many memories.

We didn’t have much, but we had love, sacrifice, and parents who taught us to work hard and dream big.

Looking at this old photo of my dad reminds me that everything we have today was built on the foundation they gave us.

We started with very little, but we were rich in love from the very beginning. ❤️

Today we celebrate 76 beautiful years of our mom, Mee — the woman who inspired the “Mee” in Yummee Treats. ❤️🎂

For more than 35 years, Mom was a farmer at the Dane County Farmers’ Market, growing fresh vegetables, working long days, and showing us what true dedication looks like.

She led our family from the heart and taught us some of life’s greatest lessons — to work hard, stay humble, persevere through difficult times, and never be afraid to grow. Those lessons have shaped not only who we are, but also the way I’ve built Yummee Treats.

Mom, thank you for your sacrifices, your strength, your wisdom, and the love you’ve poured into our family for all these years.

Happy 76th Birthday, Mee. 🎉❤️
Your legacy lives on through all of us — and even in the name Yum-Mee Treats.

Today, our farmers market day was cut short after police required the market to close early because of the shooting and the safety concerns surrounding it.

Our hearts are heavy for everyone affected. We believe in justice, we believe every voice deserves to be heard, and we believe our community is strongest when we stand together peacefully and support one another.

At the same time, today’s closure had a real impact on hundreds of small businesses, farmers, and vendors who spent days preparing, baking, staffing, and investing in what should have been a normal Saturday. For many small businesses, one market day truly matters.

But difficult moments will not divide or defeat our community. We will continue showing up, serving with love, and moving forward together.

Our shop is open today, and every visit, purchase, share, and kind word means more than you know. Thank you for supporting Yummee Treats and all the hardworking local businesses affected today. ❤️

When the couple climbed the Empire State Building illegally yesterday, I was shocked…
Not because they climbed it.
Not because Batman showed up.
But because even 1,400 feet in the air… they still knew to bring Yummee Treats. 🍪😂
Look, we don’t support trespassing… but we absolutely support having the best chocolate chip cookies in Wisconsin at every altitude.
