We're constantly making decisions about where our horse dollars go, and it's surprisingly easy to scrutinize one expense while automatically paying for another simply because it's familiar, expected, or what everyone else does.

A better question: What job am I paying this to do... and is it actually doing it?

The concern isn't that omega-6 exists. It's understanding how the different fat sources in a feeding program contribute to the overall fatty-acid profile, particularly when omega-3 intake is comparatively low.

And no, we're not going to give you a magical “perfect ratio.” One hasn't been universally established for horses.
