So I got to thinking about golf cookies… ⛳️

SO many teens play golf for their schools (including my own son until he graduated in May), but they aren’t cruising around the course in golf carts. They’re out there pushing their clubs around on push carts.

And then I realized… why don’t we have a cookie cutter for THAT?!

So obviously, I designed one. Its is now on my Etsy shop and will be on my main website tomorrow ⛳️

I’ve seen a lot of beautiful Dolly cookies and tributes being shared since her passing, and I know everyone processes loss and honors people differently.

For me personally, though, I won’t be creating Dolly cookies, reels or other content for my business page. I’ve gone back and forth about even making this post because, truthfully, even posting about it feels like a bit of a gray area.

There’s a difference between genuinely creating something as a personal tribute and quickly turning someone’s death into content because their name is trending. Even when nothing is being sold, business-page content still generates views, engagement, reach and potentially followers or future sales. And for me, using someone’s passing in a way that could benefit my business just feels like a line I’m not comfortable crossing.

The exception is anyone legitimately using their platform to raise money and donating ALL proceeds to Dolly’s charities. I think that’s a wonderful way to honor her and continue supporting the causes she cared so much about.

So you won’t see Dolly cookies from Cranked Up Confections. Not because I didn’t love her. Quite the opposite.

Sometimes the best way to honor someone is simply to let the moment be about them, not business.💖🦋

Very excited to support my sweet friends opening this local business in Attica!

Locally owned & operated bar & grill with a family-friendly atmosphere. New menu features Classic American items such as homemade fries, classic burgers, fish, salads and extended kids menu. Dine with family & friends inside, on the patio or carry out.

Redesigning my cookie and 3d printer area... got my pink Kobalt mini tool boxes, mini cabinet, and mini totes and mini pink buckets at Lowe's now to get the big toolbox and adjustable height work bench!!! 💖

How awesome is this?!?! USPS really said, “Christmas cookies deserve their own postage.”

This year’s Christmas stamps feature decorated sugar cookies, and as someone who spends an unreasonable amount of time turning sugar cookies into tiny works of art… I fully support this decision. 😂👏

Finally, my obsession has been recognized by the federal government.

Now the real question is… do I buy them to actually mail things, or buy them because they’re decorated cookies and refuse to use them?

Either way, I’m gonna need a sheet… or five. 🎄📬🍪

Six years ago today, someone trusted me enough to place my very first bakery order…

Fast forward six years and Cranked Up Confections has become so much more than I ever imagined. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this crazy, sugar-covered journey. I appreciate every order, every share, every recommendation, and every bit of support.

Here’s to six years of butter, sugar, royal icing… and pretending I don’t have powdered sugar permanently living somewhere in my house. 🤣🩷
