Happy Thanksgiving everyone. ๐Ÿ˜˜
First, I would like to thank God for giving me the skills and patience for baking. Second thank you Verรณnica Agudelo and Jose Pereira for allowing me to be part of your wedding and deciding to place your order with me on this special occasion.
To be truthful, I have declined so many wedding cakes because I didn't think I could pull it off and sometimes I'm my worst critic. Over the summer I said the next person who would ask me to do a wedding cake I would say yes. I was nervous at first but then the past week I got so excited and said to myself, you got this Jo. If others can do it, so can you. Everyone always starts somewhere and this will be my first of many. ๐Ÿ˜Š
Just like when I was doing only cupcakes and didn't think I could do cakes, I just went with the flow.
I'm super proud of how I have grown and keep learning. This was my first time using royal icing to do the stencil on a cake and also using gold leaf and it came out amazing.
Thanks again Vero and Jose for believing in me and trusting me. You guys rock. I wish you all the best in your new journey together. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ˜˜
