Early Sunday morning my husband, best friend & partner in crime of 24 years took his last breath surrounded by myself and our 3 boys. Curt was a truly genuine, funny & generous man who would do anything for anyone at a moments notice. He worked hard for our family & and never gave up! Always had a positive outlook on life & had a calling to share about Jesus and how he could change your life for the better. I know Curt walked into the arms of our savior and is no longer in pain but that doesn’t make anything easier on this side. To watch the love of your life go through what he did and you fought with everything in you to do all you could to help and it still did nothing has me in such a tight choke hold I can’t even breathe. 6 months and he’s gone. None of this will ever be easy. 😭💔 Please keep our family in your prayers. Thank you to everyone who has been so kind and helped with meals.

It’s been an incredibly difficult year for our family as we’ve navigated my husband’s cancer diagnosis and everything that has come with it. These past six months have been some of the hardest and most challenging days we’ve ever faced.
Recently, my husband made the difficult decision not to continue with any further treatment, and he is now considered terminal and receiving hospice care. While this is a heartbreaking reality for our family, we have not given up hope. We continue to hold tightly to our faith and to God’s promises, trusting that He is ultimately in control and that His plans are greater than anything we can understand.
Over the past several months, so many people have reached out asking how they can help, what they can do for our family, or simply how they can lighten our load. We are incredibly blessed to have such loving and supportive people surrounding us.
Because of that, my wonderful sister-in-law has set up a page for anyone who would like to help our family during this time. If you feel led to help, you can find options for a meal train, grocery assistance, or a donation through the link below. Please know that there is absolutely no pressure or expectation—your prayers, love, messages, and support mean more to us than we could ever put into words.
Right now, our focus is simply on our family. We are coming together, taking things one day at a time, making memories, and cherishing every moment we are blessed to have together.
Please continue to keep our family in your prayers. Pray for strength, peace, comfort, and for God's will to be done. We are trusting Him, holding onto hope, and walking through this together as a family.
