Many of you know me through Sugar Hill Cakery, where I’ve been blessed to help celebrate some of your life’s sweetest moments.

Today, I’m coming to you not just as a baker, but as a wife and mother asking for support during one of the hardest seasons my family has ever faced.
My husband, Curt, is currently battling Stage 4 gastric cancer. His chemo treatment will be starting Monday 6/1. As we navigate doctor appointments, treatments, and the emotional and financial challenges that come with this fight, we are leaning heavily on faith, family, and the kindness of our community.

The amount of love, prayers, messages, and support we’ve already received has meant more than words could ever express. Every single share, donation, and encouraging comment reminds us that we are not fighting this battle alone.

Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart to ask for your help and support. My husband has recently been diagnosed with cancer, and our world has been turned upside down. As we begin this difficult journey, we are facing not only emotional challenges, but also significant financial strain from medical treatments, appointments, and time away from work.

We’ve created a GoFundMe to help ease some of this burden so we can focus on what truly matters—his treatment, healing, and time together as a family.
