So this is one of my most favorite photos. If you haven’t watched the show and don’t want it spoiled, you may want to stop reading and go watch it. The look on London’s face says it all. This girl has mad skills for her age and I can’t wait to see where the future takes her. She is the kindest most sweetest soul you’ll ever meet and I was blessed to have met her. Schellie I was lucky to have had a ton of time to talk with during my hours of shucking corn. Let me tell you I was in awe of her when we met. Not only is she passionate about what she does but she loves her students. Her face would light up and shine when she talked about her job and students. I only wish more teachers would have an opportunity like this for their students. Austin well what can I say…. Look at the kid he has already gone so far in his career. It’s not only a testament to his skills but the product of having an amazing teacher. Foodtastic was hosted by Keke Palmer who is a doll and so sweet. It really was a joy to watch her work and she was really into what we were all creating. The judging was done by Benny Rivera and Amirah Kassem who are both legends in the cake world. Thank you so much for your suggestions and critiquing. It is an opportunity I will probably never have again and is always something I love getting as that is how I learn and grow. From the moment the process started the red carpet was rolled out. Every member of the production team was so enthusiastic about their job they really wanted to make sure we all succeeded and had great pieces. Our producer Ryan (you are the man) was amazing at making people feel comfortable talking on camera and I think has the patience of a saint. Lol. The set was nothing short of sheer Disney magic. It was so beautiful it was almost surreal. The food pantry well what can you say? It was unlike anything I’ll probably every have the opportunity to experience again. It was massive and Disney made sure if we could dream it, we could build it. A big bonus was that everything not used was donated. Last but not least, my teammates Michelle and Dylan. Even though we never worked together before I had so much faith in both of your skills and abilities I knew we could do it. I am forever grateful that you both agreed to go on this journey with me and can never thank you enough. You are amazing and I am so proud of you both.
