Bee pollen is like nature's trail mix-a blend of flower pollen, nectar, enzymes, honey, wax, and bee secretions. Bees collect it, use it, and store as food for the hive.

Our beekeepers have been hard at work checking out our nucs to make sure they're strong and good-to-go for our final group of nuc customers🐝

A nuc (short for nucleus) is a small, functioning honey bee hive, complete with a laying queen, worker bees, brood (that's eggs and larvae), and stores honey and pollen🌼

Our nucs are sold out for this year, but stop by The Colony soon if you want to see our property speckled with these little boxes of honey bees before their owners pick them up!

We’ve officially wrapped up bee package pick-ups for the season! 🐝 If you see honeybees out foraging, they might just belong to one of our awesome local beekeeping customers.
Our own apiary at The Colony is already bustling, and our indoor live observation hive will be buzzing to life soon. Stay tuned! 🍯
