✨COMPLETE REBRAND✨
My loves, today is the day I have been waiting months for. When I first started my cake journey, I had no idea where Cakes by Amanda was headed. Three years in, and my business is now able to truly reflect its’ identity and values.

2020 has brought about many new opportunities and challenges for me and my small business. As a part of my rebranding, I’ve developed a new name. Welcome to Short and Sweet Bakery - previously known as Cakes by Amanda. Although I will be continuing with a new name, my values remain the same. Fresh, homemade treats served with an unparalleled experience.

What does this mean for my existing customers? Ordering will remain the same, except you will be required to go through my new website. I will be starting to accept limited orders for July, with the same, if not better customer service. And lastly, I will begin to utilize my new social media pages. You’ll start to slowly see me transition towards my new identity. To see daily updates on my progress, follow my new account.

I will also be expanding my operations with a new shoppe upstairs at the Tyngsboro Sports Center, where I will be crafting all of these specialty cakes, cupcakes and cookies. The daily menu will consist of gourmet cupcakes, french macarons, as well as an assortment of grab-and-go cakes. I will also be resuming youth and adult classes soon in my new space.

I have been blown away by all of the amazingly kind messages I’ve received - all of your support truly means the world to me. I would also like to give a huge shout out to Matt Wickens for giving my logo a facelift and my entire family for the consistent support. With that said, I know change is hard. My followers are my top priority, and I hope that this new journey is easy and fluid for all of you.

As children, we find ourselves creating these big dreams in our heads, only to hide them away convincing ourselves they are too far fetched. Owning a bakery was always that for “big dream” for me. I would go through my daily life constantly daydreaming of opening a shoppe where I could brighten people’s day through my sweets.

For the past three years, I have had the privilege of creating so many cakes, cookies, cupcakes and other treats that have allowed me to play a small role in various special occasions. I could have never imagined the happiness that would come by being able to share these moments with all of you. A special thank you to my family, friends, and everyone has supported me and helped me along the way. You have all put so much faith in me, and with your help I am truly living out my dreams.

With all of this said, I would like to announce that Cakes by Amanda will be getting its first facelift since opening three years ago. Although my small business is currently closed, in just a few short weeks I will be opening with a new name, a new location, and a brand new attitude! The same amount of love will still go into each order, but I am thrilled for you all to see these changes I am making. Thank you again for always supporting me, and always remember that life is too short to not have a little sweetness sprinkled in along the way!
