As most of you on the page know, we just went through a major hurricane last weekend. While we are anxious to make our products available to you and we were so excited to launch our grand opening we continue to live without electricity.

Hello lovely people! As most, if not all of you currently following the page know we are starting Kitchen Witch and Voodoo Confections with a bare bones budget- meaning every penny is coming out of our own pockets so it is taking a minute to work out the logistics of everything- mainly shipping. Working out the shipping logistics is proving to be a pain in my behind and taking up entirely too much time and is giving me a headache by taking me away from the thing I love the most- baking. With that being said- itโ€™s getting close.
Within the next couple of weeks we should have the menu offerings and pricing hammered out and ready to announce!!! Weโ€™re going to do this on a โ€œpre-orderโ€ basis where I offer you a box of assorted goodies to choose from for the week. Menu for the week will be posted on Tuesday, orders closed on Thursdays and shipped on the following Monday with local deliveries/pickups on Sunday/Monday. After spending so much time speaking with shipping representatives, Monday seems to be the best day to ship items and ensures they wonโ€™t be sitting in a warehouse somewhere over the weekend.

Mermaid: R.K.T square, topped with marshmallow buttercream and a chocolate mermaid tail. 6 oz.

Voodoo Confections and I have been in the kitchen all week collaborating on an updated version of some of our favorite childhood treats. We're having a blast coming up with the best flavor combinations for you. This is our โ€œworkingโ€ kitchen at Kitchen Witch Bake Shoppe, where we stir up the magic to pass along to you. My friends giggle at me because I refer to it as the โ€œsterileโ€ kitchen since it reminds me of a clinical environment. Iโ€™ve always preferred to use the front kitchen in our house to cook in (yes, there are two kitchens in our house- former B&B) because it has color and therefore feels โ€œwarmer.โ€
Today Iโ€™ll be in the kitchen working on COOKIES! Fall flavors are about to be announced. ;-)

Hello everyone and welcome to Kitchen Witch Bake Shoppe!
Iโ€™m incredibly excited to announce that in the coming weeks I will be launching my menu and hope youโ€™ll find many things that will bring a little magic to your taste buds, so keep watching this space.
A little about meโ€ฆ Iโ€™m a retired professional baker with over 30 yearsโ€™ experience. I retired 6 years ago to pursue a different path of helping animals, but have missed baking and sharing the magic of my creations with others.
So Iโ€™ve decided to start by opening a cottage bakery while working towards purchasing a food truck so I will be able to share my experience, joy and love of baking with everyone nationwide.
I take pride in every aspect of my business, from the creation of the recipes, to the quality of the ingredients I choose, even the packaging is chosen with care to protect and keep the products fresh for you.
Quality baked goods and confections are a little bit of chemistry, a handful of knowledge and skills, a whole lot of passion then sprinkled with magic- all to bring you the tastiest, most satisfying bite of deliciously decadent goodness you can experience.
