Because who doesn’t want a dozen bite-sized birthday cake scones on a Monday?! ✨🧁

Sourdough Scones are available on an as-requested basis; so if you’ve got a sweet tooth, just send me a message!

When baking with sourdough “discard,” in order to get the sourdough benefits (gut healthy bacteria that improve digestability of flour), it needs to be “long fermented.” That means that after mixing it all up, you let it sit in the fridge for at least 12 hours to let the sourdough do its magic. These beauties and all sourdough discard goodies that I make are typically fermented around 24 hours!

I’m excited to be selling some fun, pollinator-themed sourdough breads and scones next week at this event!

Our Annual Pollinator Party is a great opportunity to learn what you might be able to do in your own spaces to help pollinators! Free family friendly fun! Lots of kids activities, pollinator information from a variety of vendors, Rainy Rose food trailer, farmers market vendors, and buy some pollinator friendly plants!!

This was such a fun experiment to try out this weekend! I used duck egg yolk for the yellow petals and egg whites with chia seeds for the center. I’ve got a couple more spring-themed experiments in my mind to try out soon!! 🌻

✨FLASH LOAF AVAILABILITY— I have FOUR seeded multigrain loaves up for grabs! Baked fresh this morning! $10/loaf (normally $15). DM to claim! ✨

A combo of bread flour, rye, ground flax, and wheat germ make this loaf rich and robust in flavor. The seeded top makes for a delightful crunch and added flavor!

Pick-up at our house, or, delivery available on Sunday (will be kept nice and fresh until then).
