My apologies for not responding to messages, everyone! Went to stay with my sister in law to help with a surgery recovery and haven’t dug through my messages to respond to.

I will be coming home this weekend & getting my youngest ready to start kindergarten on Monday so my week is going to be a little crazy but I’ll be able to focus a little more on my bakery.

We're still (im)patiently waiting to serve BBQ. We anticipate getting the final go-ahead in one week. In the meantime, many of you have found a way around the wait with special orders. Apparently the weather understood the assignment for sourdough day. 😂🌧️

It’s supposed to be a little cooler and rainy today, which feels like a pretty good excuse for a warm bowl of soup and a ridiculous amount of sourdough toast with garlic butter.

Fresh Geekery sourdough loaves are headed out this morning and should be dropped off @ Meat and Potato Company on Addison Ave W. around 11am! 🍞

And because I couldn’t post sourdough without making myself hungry — pictured is homemade potato, ham & clam chowder with toasted sourdough and garlic butter. 🤤

Fresh bread + 78° + a little rain = I’ll take it.

Like so many in our community, my heart has been heavy the last few days.

It is breaking for the victims and survivors, as well as their families.. I just can’t wrap my mind around the why or desire to cause such pain and devastation.

You know there are monsters in the world, but you never really expect one to show up so close to home.

I’m lost for words, really.. but I know our community is strong.. and that’s what is carrying me today.

Hold your loved ones tight. ❤️‍🩹 or watch a whale documentary for the 100th time because that’s the only way you can sneak some cuddles in 😅 Thank God for The Secrets of the Whales docuseries. ❤️

Date night called for cake. ❤️🍰

I decided to keep it simple with one of our favorites—a scratch-made white cake layered with my vanilla bean cream cheese buttercream frosting and finished with chocolate sprinkles for a cookies & cream twist.

Sometimes you don’t need a special occasion… just a slice of cake, a cozy evening together, and someone to share it with. 🥰

Life with a neurospicy kiddo who has a history of elopement can be pretty stressful in a busy tourist town like Jackson Hole.

We actually used to live here and still have family in the area. Jono grew up in this little town and has watched it become the kind of place where even window shopping the real estate feels expensive.

Even though Jackson feels like a second home to us, we still keep a tight hold on Griff's hand. The traffic in Jackson makes Blue Lakes feel easy peasy.

That said, I love that Jono gets to share his hometown with our kids and make new memories in a place that has meant so much to him (and I). ❤️
