Congratulations to the The Sugar Shack of Twain Hart, recipient of this year's Senator's Choice Awards for Small Business in Tuolumne County.

Yesterday, our district representative presented the award to the mother-daughter team of Melissa and Jessie McCormick honoring this charming confectionery destination in Twain Harte for its outstanding contributions to the community and local economy.

Specializing in handcrafted candies, baked goods, and artisanal treats, The Sugar Shack offers a carefully curated selection of indulgences perfect for personal enjoyment or gift-giving.

“The Sugar Shack exemplifies the very best of our district’s small businesses,” said Sen. Alvarado-Gil. “From handcrafted candies and baked goods to being a beloved gathering spot for sweet treats in Twain Harte, The Sugar Shack represents the dedication and spirit that keep our local economy thriving."

Mlissa McCormick in receiving the award said, "We are honored to receive this award and truly appreciate being recognized for all of our hard work by the Senator and her team!"

UPDATE: does anyone want to adopt this sweet boy? Owner is not interested in keeping him due to *personal issues*.
Animal control said he will be put down if he goes to the shelter. He is up to date on shots and literally the sweetest. Please help us find this guy a home

Does anyone know whose sweet dog this is?? He’s here at the sugar shack and will be taken to animal control unless someone comes for him 😭

Anyone recognize these kids? We would like to remind them we are not a public trash can and dumping their recycling/garbage is not ok.
