I would have never gotten to where I was without any of it or you!
I have taken a step back over the last few months due to my wrist not holding up when it came to decorating your orders. Quite frankly, I went from being told I had beautiful handwriting to looking like my sons writing within a year. That hit me. I know it wasnβt what I could do and I hated that.
I can no longer squeeze a piping bag without completely quivering and not having janky lines or work fondant to even get it soft enough to work.
Cinnamon roll doughβ¦. I canβt knead it long enough to even give it chance!
With all of this said, I have came to the solution that I need to shut down Driftwood Dough Baking Co. π₯Ί
Even though I have loved getting to meet so many new people and make some challenging cakes. I believe that God has bigger and better things for me!
I would like to take a chance to refer any of my friends to another local baker, Aubrey PrevΓ© Eitland with Water To Wheat Cakery! She does an amazing job and I know she would appreciate your business just as much as I have!
I am still planning to turn a corner onto a new path of creativity that I just love so much! I still want to be able to offer all of you something other than baking. Most of you donβt know that, I create digital images, design shirts, hats, uniforms, magazine coversβ¦. Etc!
This is all still in works but this is easier and not as much stress on my wrist.
