Leo’s baptism celebration luncheon was at the absolutely beautiful The Hacienda. It’s a restaurant and also has a beautiful ceremony and reception space for weddings and events. The decor and ambiance is so beautiful and it just felt so special. I got to do Leo’s baby shower before he was born and got to see his cuteness in person! Bless you Leo.

4-Tier Wedding Cake Setup. Why stack on-site?
It is much easier and safer to box a three tier cake than a four tier cake. Taller cakes can wobble and shift during transport. Any tiers past three get stacked right at the venue.
Real cake: 100% real cake is always my preference over faux or styrofoam tiers whenever possible. There are always exceptions, but I’m for the real thing.
Safe floral design: I wrap real flower stems in floral tape before adding them to the cake. Unwrapped stems should not go directly into the cake.
The best part: Running into amazing wedding vendor friends on-site always makes the day better.
Trust the pros: Delivering a wedding cake still brings nerves after hundreds of weddings, but hiring a professional means your special day is always in safe hands.

When cake is your canvas and you use all the tools a painter uses to create their art. Blending buttercream like paint and creating petals with palette knives seems more like painting than cake decorating. Happy birthday Sarika!

Huge congratulations to Vira and Nicholas! True cake art takes time, and this design was a complete labor of love. Every individual band of ruffle was careful cut, rolled, and ruffled by hand. Paired with hand made sugar flowers always take a wedding cake to the next level.

When you understand the couple’s assignment.
Congratulations Shirley and Nick!
Dark and moody was the brief. A black cake with sugar flowers to match the real floral vibes. Sometimes you show up and the colors don’t quite match the vision board, but The Bloom Of Time and I coordinated so well.
Pro tip. When I create a black cake with buttercream texture, the cake is 1st covered with black fondant and I lightly apply the black buttercream to create the depth and dimension. This way the fondant can be removed. The last thing you want is to cover an entire cake with black frosting because you don’t want your guests teeth to be black. Not a good look. I also colored the buttercream with black cocoa to use less black coloring.
I absolutely love making sugar flowers and love the rich, deep moody colors for this cake. Cake is art… you don’t exactly know the final result until you see it and I am in love with this edible piece of art.
