The sorting hat from Harry Potter. This particular one was made with a surprise inside.

The girl this was made for turned 11 and has been sorted into RAVENCLAW! 🔷🟡🐦‍⬛.

Here’s the truth. I have always doubted myself in the kitchen, but over the years learning with my patient wife has always been a comfort. She always believes in me and what I can do, even if I can’t, and I will say everything except for the puff pastry was made from scratch.

And while these are not perfect, they were absolutely delicious and made with love.

I had the lovely opportunity to make a wedding cake. This particular cake is both dairy free and gluten free and was delectable. The flavor was really quite something lemon lavender with a blueberry filling.
