Farrell's breads are made the old world way, with minimal mixing and long fermentation times. We use all natural ingredients. You can buy at the bakery or through select grocers in Tulsa, OKC or Norman.

We love what Kathy Taylor is cooking up! Bread from our bakery is the perfect side for a delicious bowl of soup. Try out this recipe and stop in for some bread. It’s the perfect dinner for a frosty night in Oklahoma.

Frosty weather is coming and it always reminds me to make my long-time favorite soup from a beloved former Tulsa restaurant -- St. Michael's Alley.

🍗 Grab a rotisserie chicken to speed things up or put the chicken breast in your mixer to shred the chicken in no time.
🧅 Sauté the garlic and onions in 2 tsp butter until the onions become clear.
🥘 Add remaining ingredients and cook on medium heat, stirring every 10 minutes or so until mixture is hot and well blended (about 45 minutes).
🧀 Optional: Top with chopped green pepper, red onion, cilantro, chopped tomato and grated cheese for extra deliciousness!

This is soup is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser, especially when topped with cheese and served with bread from Farrell Bread & Bakery!🍲🥖
