Ever heard of Gestalt Language Processing?! We are identifying more and more GLP communicators in therapy!
GLP communicators use “chunks” of language that are often influenced by sounds and phrases they’ve heard in their environment! These phrases and inflections often have meaning to them, but sometimes require some investigating by the listener to interpret!
We are learning about each child’s individual communication style and how to best support them using a strength based approach!
