Couple weeks no post! This is a family business and family comes first.

I love this photo for many reasons. 2 brothers, 2 dudes, hometown city in the back, wind and sun in the faces, fresh off a solid meal at our local spot. And reppin’ the dream.

The same month I signed the lease for our brick shop I learned about my brother David’s diagnosis with ALS and FTD. Sadly, a recent intensely fought battle with pneumonia was too much for him to overcome.

Dave was an incredible supporting force behind our mission at Dude’s Delights. The mission of spreading joy through extra good cookies. Customers never got to see him at the shop but I know if he could have, he would have been at the front door being the most positive and enthusiastic greeter. He loved that I walked into our parent’s footsteps as a cookie baker. He hadn’t had many macarons before we linked our 2 journeys together - and boy did they delight the heck out of that dude!

We will be making all of Dave’s favorite flavors for our shop popup next Saturday May 30. Popup details soon.
