Guess that's it... If you'd like to continue to send a message to our government that this isn't okay, please consider leaving Meta platforms (messenger, Facebook and Instagram) for 4 months. Several congress people/senators bought meta stock assuming it would become popular again with the ban.

Let's show them they were wrong and that we the people are more powerful

I'm not sad. If anything, I'm relieved. Operating a solo bakery was nearly impossible and I had been struggling for nearly a year to keep the bakery running. And by the time I realized I needed help, I was far too overwhelmed to continue.

Outside of Song & Sugar Sweets, 2024 was the most challenging and most expensive year of my life. But this little bakery if mine gave me the extra cash flow I needed last year to keep my head above water while everything around me broke. It also gave me enough cash to take a 6 month break and only work part time while I tried to save what little sanity I had left. So while I'm truly grateful for this business, maybe it was only placed in my life, because the universe saw what I was going to need covered in 2024.

It was a pleasure serving the Tucson community. I don't see this as a forever goodbye but as a see you later. I do think that Tucson is longing for consistent baking/decorating classes and maybe, just maybe, I can fill that void in the future.

Thanks for coming along with me on this adventure, but it's time for another one 🩷💛💚

Have you seen that I posted my next class? Up next: Cactus cupcakes🌵Learn how I make what is quickly become my my signature and most popular design. We'll start with the basics of how to fill and hold a piping bag before practicing some basic piping techniques. You'll then use your newly learned skills to create your own cactus garden to bring home and admire.

Class is May 4th from 12-2pm at the Tucson Mall. No experience is necessary and all materials are provided. just show up and be ready for 2 hours of fun!

I'll be at AZ Beer House this Friday and Saturday but did you know that if you can't make it, you can still get your cookies? On my website I have cookie boxes available.
