September hits different when you’re Filipino ❤️

The moment ber months arrive, Christmas is already in the air. Christmas songs start playing (we see you Mariah Carey and Jose Mari Chan), parol lights begin to glow, decorations come out, and somehow… we’re already counting down to December 😂

But for Filipinos abroad, the ber months are more than just a countdown for Christmas. They remind us of home, family, traditions, food, generosity, and togetherness. They bring back childhood memories like gathering around the table, hearing Christmas songs in every store, sharing food with loved ones, and celebrating even when we didn’t have much.

Maybe that’s why Filipino Christmas feels so special. We don’t just celebrate Christmas, we also carry the feelings of home with us 🥰

So yes… September is here and LET THE CHRISTMAS SEASON BEGIN 🎄 🌟

My heroes aren’t only found in history books. They are my grandparents and tita who raised us and my parents who left the country to build a better life and future for us. They sacrificed so much so my sister and I could have more. To my heroes then and now, thank you 💛

Well… this is one post that’s definitely not in our bingo card for this year. Our sweetest baby Penny was recently diagnosed with cancer and we’re raising money to help pay for her treatment. We’ll be at Summer Night Market next Friday, July 31st from 6 pm - 10 pm with some Filipino treats for sale.

All earnings from the pop ups we attend for this year will go towards Penny until she finishes her chemo therapy. If you’re able to attend and support we’d truly appreciate it. If not, please send all the love and good thoughts her way! ❤️
