Grab a quick sonoran style desayuno for $15 with any 24 ounce specialty drink and your choice paring of a Mexican Sprinkle Cookie, Coyota Croissant, Mexican Hot Chocolate Cookie, or Blue Corn Tres Leches Cake

For our $25 Prix-Fixe menu you can choose a main entree of Cajeta Pancakes or Caldo De Queso Quiche, your choice paring of a 24 ounce specialty drink and one pastry listed from our $15 menu.

It’s Pumpkin Spice Season at 1989 Bakehouse! House made pumpkin spice syrup, locally roasted espresso from Decibel Coffee Works , house made cold foam and dusted with a bit of cinnamon 🎃

Our Pumpkin Spice Syrup is Vegan! For a non-dairy option, request no cold foam and choose any of our non-dairy milks.

1989 Bakehouse’s Olympic Chocolate Muffin has been making waves-probably because it’s based on the viral 2024 “choccy muffs” at the Olympics ➡️

In 2024, Roselena Trevizo and the world were captivated by one foodie event, Norwegian swimmer Henrik Christiansen and his obsession with the worlds most delicious chocolate muffins ➡️

Roselena Trevizo knew that Tucson needed these muffins. She created her own house recipe based on this Olympic Swimmers description of the worlds alleged best chocolate muffins. Thus was born what we would argue are the deepest , richest, most gooey delicious chocolate muffins you’ve ever had ➡️

Last weekend of our Nacho Libre Menu calls for an ode to our Sister Cajeta Roll ➡️

Cajeta, which is Caramel made from goats milk, is the flavor of so many traditional Mexican and Latin American sweets ➡️

Roselena Trevizo saw the Nacho Libre Menu as an opportunity to share this flavor in the biggest way possible; on our giant house recipe cinnamon roll ➡️

The fluffy texture of our Sister Cajeta Roll paired with authentic Cajeta brought so many of us back to our Amma’s kitchen, or the local dulceria we knew as children.

Recipes at Bakehouse come from memories. Our Cortadillo Cake is directly linked to Executive Baker and Owner Roselena Trevizo ‘s childhood. Whether it’s a “merienda“ (late afternoon snack) or for a special occasion, our authentic Cortadillo cake has become a house staple because of its connection with memory, family and love.

Our Cortadillo is most often pink but occasionally white for fun 🤍
