Our very first annual CAKE WALK is here!
12 local bakeries are coming together at Bakery by Ren to put on a Cake Gallery. This event is FREE to view, vote, play bingo and stay for the return of our Great British Bake Off Watch Party — aligned perfectly with Cake Week 😎

Of course, if you’d like to taste the cakes (I mean, cmon), tasting tickets will be available for presale at both Ren locations starting THURSDAY, Aug 27. $15 to try all of the cakes, plus an entry into winning a special order cake made by Bakery by Ren!

All ticket sales will be put into a donation fund. The winning bakeries will choose which charity their portion of the fund will be donated to.

We cannot WAIT for the sweetest event of the year!

Hi all, it’s Chandler taking over the Instagram temporarily for a very important message - it’s Vicki’s birthday!

She’s been at Ren for 2 and a half years - her official titles include marketing manager, event planner and florist but the role she plays is much larger.

Vicki works hard to make sure everyone on our staff has a ear to fall on when they’re in need, she keeps us laughing even when work is at its most stressful and she is the first to volunteer to help solve problems when they arise.

You may know her by her aptly-named social media monicker vicknowstucson . She works hard to make sure Ren and many other local businesses get the exposure they deserve so Tucson remains a place for small businesses to thrive.

If you see her out and about be sure to wish her a happy birthday, or better yet offer to buy her a vanilla latte or a gin and tonic (depending on the venue).

Calling All Bakers!

We are planning a Cake Walk for September 4th to coincide with the return of our popular Great British Bake Off Watch Party! If you’re a fan of the show, you may know that typically the first week of Bake Off is Cake Week. We thought it would be fun to do a collaborative event with all the bakeries/cottage bakers in town to kick it off!

Here’s what we’re thinking:
🎂 Bakers/Bakeries build a cake completely of their choosing to donate to the event.
🎂 The cakes are displayed for a Cake Walk, where guests can view the cakes, vote on their favorites and play cake bingo!
🎂 Tasting tickets will be available for guests to purchase to sample the cakes and be entered into a raffle to win a cake donated by Bakery by Ren.
🎂 All of the money generated by the Cake Walk will be put into a donation fund.
🎂 The winning bakeries of the Cake Walk will be able to donate their portion of the fund to a charity of choice.
🎂 We all watch the first episode of this season’s Bake Off together!
