As we close our doors, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our donors and coffee drinkers who have supported us over the years. Your love for our coffee and community has meant the world to us.

We are excited to share that Bricklayer Bakery is at the same location, offering delicious bakery items and coffee. We encourage you to visit them and continue enjoying great treats and coffee.

Tomorrow Cornerstone Coffee & Confections will be closing our doors for the last time and heading into the sunset like these elephants. We would like to thank all of our wonderful customers who have supported Cornerstone Coffee over the past 9 years. We thank you for helping us to help others, whether orphans in Uganda or vulnerable children here in Missouri,we could not have served them without your patronage. It was a pleasure to see your families grow, couples formed, employees graduate from school and head into the world as young adults. It's been heartbreaking to have regular customers pass away but we know that we will see each other again. Have a blessed rest of your summer and please reach out if you would like a particular piece of artwork from the shop.

The future home of Bricklayer Cafe

Life moves fast sometimes. We were presented with an opportunity to shift our business and we’re taking it. We know our customers have been wanting a space to sit and enjoy our food, and while we were originally aiming for a new location next year… when Cornerstone Coffee went up for sale last month, we decided to take a chance.

With our summer vacation already planned for next week, we’ve decided that it will be best to simply reopen at the new location at the end of the month. We will continue using the bakery on College as our production space and commissary, but it will no longer be open to the public after Saturday, July 6. This means:

We’ll be keeping our emphasis on fresh, handcrafted, and local because that’s just our way. And don’t worry, we’ll still be every week (just not 7/13, as most of the staff will be out of the state, say hi to whoever’s in our spot and tell how much you miss us 👋🏻 )

I took the Tree of Eternity down yesterday and brought the pictures home to organize by age and gender. I will bring the pictures back for people to collect their loved one's picture. Thank you for sharing your loved one's beautiful faces with the shop over the past 7 years!

As some people may already know, Cornerstone Coffee & Confections has been sold and will be closing on July 12th. Another announcement will be made next week letting everyone know what business will be coming into the building. The new business will still be selling coffee along with some yummy food!

We are running on summer hours until we close on on July 12th. Monday-Friday 7am to 2pm and Saturday, 7am to noon. Come on in and say goodbye and give your favorite barista a high-five!

Hello Summer! Cornerstone Coffee & Confections will be moving to summer hours as of June 24th! We will be open 7am to 2pm starting Monday, June 24th. Saturday hours will remain the same (7am to Noon). Come in and enjoy your coffee and baked goods before hitting the pool for the day!!

Not sure if you know this or not, but Cornerstone Coffee gives away all of our profits to other ministries and charities. We have a list of the charities listed on our website if you'd like to read about them. At the moment we are selling farm fresh eggs to help with educational expenses for orphans in Uganda. Any donation would be great! Come in and get some eggs and help send a kid to school!
