Sourdough has been a never ending journey of learning + growing for me. I will always be a student of the craft first, which I LOVE! With that said, I would love for you to check out my recent blog post on fresh milled flour.

I am so thrilled to start offering you bread that includes fresh milled flour in it. Making the healthiest bread has always been my top priority! I will start incorporating this slowly as I navigate how to do this efficiently, as it takes time to mill the wheat berries. If you order something with fresh milled flour, just know you will be getting a more nutritious, flavorful loaf of bread. I will mix in the fresh flour within hours of milling it, keeping all of it's nutritious factors in the bread.
Please note, the current organic flour I have been using is still just about as good as it gets when it comes to store-bought flour. My sourdough is still WAY better for you than bread in the grocery store. It's low in gluten and easy to digest, always made with the highest quality ingredients. BUT... adding in a percentage of fresh milled flour will take your sourdough experience to the next level.
