Fall is here and that means apple dishes! are the BEST apples to use, because Michigan’s climate and geography results in the best tasting apples! They are fresh and locally grown. In fact, the apples are hand harvested in the orchards into bins. Each bin is marked with the location in the orchard where the apples were picked (this is for traceability purposes). A truck delivers the harvested apples to an apple packing facility. They are washed, sorted, culled, etc. and packed to order based on where they’re headed to be sold.
The best way to eat fresh ? However you want! I’ve created this delicious Skillet Apple Cobbler. It’s easy to make and with apples that are grown in our own backyard, and “just-down-the-road” fresh, it’s a taste that’s .
