Happy Wedding Day to Bree & William!💛

This beautiful couple chose a sweet, intimate two-tier cutting cake adorned with lots of soft, romantic ruffles. Both tiers are vanilla cake finished with our vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream.

I even got to sneak a little peek at Bree while I was delivering the cake, and she looked absolutely gorgeous! ✨

Congratulations to Jake on his Ordination to the Diaconate! 🎉🙏
Jake has faithfully served as Assistant to the Rector at our church, and in just a few weeks, he will begin a new chapter serving another church. While we will certainly miss him, we are so excited for all that lies ahead!
We don’t normally make vegan desserts, but for Jake, we were happy to try something new! His celebration included vegan chocolate mousse with cookie crunch and vegan vanilla pudding with bananas and Biscoff cookies. 🍫🍌
Congratulations, Jake! We will miss you and wish you all of God’s blessings as you continue to follow His call and begin this next chapter of your ministry. ❤️🙏

Happy 50th Birthday, Steve! 🥳✨

Steve’s wonderful wife wanted to make his milestone birthday extra special with a custom Star Wars–themed cake and matching cake pops!

The bottom tier was biscotti cookie cake filled with rich caramel, while the top tier featured strawberry cake with a decadent strawberry filling. The cake pops were a delicious assortment of chocolate, vanilla, and cookies & cream.

We hope your 50th birthday was truly out of this world! 🚀⭐️ May the Force be with you!

Last week, I had the pleasure of teaching the Baking & Pastry Camp for high school students hosted by Virginia Western.

Roanoke-area friends, if you have a high schooler who loves to bake or wants to learn new skills, these camps are an incredible opportunity—and they’re completely free! They’re offered each summer for a month.

Throughout the week, students learned a variety of baking and pastry techniques, including baking and decorating cakes, working with fondant, and making banana bread, cinnamon rolls, and cookies. It was such a fun week watching their confidence and creativity grow!

This sweet, adorable little guy is turning 4 and celebrating with a mighty roar! His birthday cake was a gluten-free lemon blueberry cake filled with luscious lemon cream cheese frosting and finished with smooth vanilla cream cheese frosting on the outside, and a fondant dinosaur eating his way through!! Happy Wedding Day to Madison and Mason!! The flowers 😍 Every floral detail, from the reception barn to every beautiful touch throughout the venue, was absolutely breathtaking. We wanted their cakes to capture that same beauty and elegance!

The tiered cake was carrot cake with cream cheese frosting from top to bottom, decorated with delicate piped florals and ruffles. They also chose three sheet cakes — one carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and two chocolate-vanilla swirl cakes with vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream, all finished with beautiful blue rosettes.

Best wishes to The Honackers as they begin this new chapter together! May your life always bloom with love, joy, and flowers! 🎂 💐

Happy Wedding Day to Ella and Tyler! Everything from the flowers to the stunning backdrop at Belle Garden Estate was absolutely beautiful — especially the bride. Their elegant wedding cake was the perfect complement to the venue, featuring decadent devil’s food cake with ganache and mascarpone filling, along with rich red velvet cake layered with cream cheese frosting. Fondant swans and delicate ribbon details completed the design beautifully. Wishing The Showalters a lifetime filled with love, joy, and happiness! 🎂🥂

Pretty floral cupcakes! Flavors included red velvet with cream cheese frosting and confetti with vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream. These were so much fun to create — beautiful to look at and delicious too! We hope everyone enjoyed them as much as we enjoyed making them! 💐🧁

Welcome, Baby Ezekiel! 💚 So many smiling faces came together to celebrate this sweet little guy’s arrival. His mom loves John Deere tractors, so we did our best to bring that theme to life. The cake was funfetti with all edible toppers—and she even saved the tractor for his first birthday cake! Wishing Ezekiel a joyful beginning and a beautiful life ahead. 🚜🎂👶🏻
