🍿✨ Yesterday was SWEET! ✨🍿
I had the absolute pleasure of hosting a Chocolate-Covered Popcorn Experience for 160 amazing scholars at the DECA Prep Freedom Schools Summer Camp!
Students rotated through interactive stations, chose from three delicious popcorn flavors, added their own chocolate and toppings, and created a treat that was as unique as they are. But this experience was about so much more than popcorn.
As the owner of Sugar Sweets by Peeks, I had the opportunity to share my entrepreneurial journey, encourage students to dream big, and remind them that every successful business starts with one idea and the courage to try. They didn’t just leave with a sweet treat—they left with a new skill, inspiration, and a memorable experience.
The smiles, the empty popcorn boxes, the requests for seconds, the photo opportunities, and the wonderful messages from staff afterward made my heart so full. Thank you to DECA Prep Freedom Schools for trusting me to create such a fun, organized, and engaging event!
