This cake actually gave me a run for my money, believe it or not. 🥵 I learned a lot just from this one cake. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 But, I do want to say that I am so thankful for friends/customers that are always understanding when I find myself struggling a little bit. 🥹💚

This weekend consisted of baking & decorating this two tier, chocolate, strawberry themed cake for a Berry Sweet Baby, baby shower. 💗

This cake was a complete & total surprise to the mama to be & guests! & I do believe they loved it.

It also was one of my “trust the process” cakes. 😅 I spent all day Saturday working on this cake, & when my original design plan did not come together how I envisioned, I had to change things around. After another run to the store for more supplies, I finally finished this cake a little after midnight.

When bakers tell you so much time & energy goes into baking & decorating, they mean it. Looking at it, you wouldn’t think it would have taken so long and of course, this wouldn’t have if I didn’t have to stop as much as I did (toddler mom & store runs 🤪). But, I love how it turned out!
