Guess what’s on the dinner menu today? It includes many of the same vegetables as my last dinner post but, it isn’t a soup. And it’s cooked in the oven on low for 4-5 hours in my Dutch oven.

Hi all! 💜 I haven’t released a bakery menu for this weekend because Sunday is going to be a BIG bake day for our Bake It Forward donation for Downriver for Veterans! 🇺🇸🍞

BUT… I’m thinking maybe I should make a little extra while the ovens are going and have a Violet Rose Cottage Porch Pop-Up on Sunday! 🏡🍂

I’m thinking the porch could be stocked with things like:

🥖 Fresh sourdough breads
🍪 Sweet treats
🥯 Bagels & other baked goodies
🌿 Pantry favorites
🧴 Apothecary goodies
🍂 And maybe a few fall surprises!

I’ve been tossing around a new idea for Violet Rose Cottage, and I’d love to know what you think!

What if I offered small, interactive online classes that you could join right from your own kitchen? 🏡

I’m thinking things like:

✨ HOW IT WOULD WORK:

Before class, you’ll receive the recipe, ingredient list, and everything you need to have ready.

Then, on a specific date and time, we’ll hop online and make it together step-by-step!

💬 These will be interactive classes, so you can ask questions and participate throughout the class.

📵 And no pressure to be on camera! You absolutely do not have to turn your camera on if you don’t want to. Come as you are, follow along, ask questions and learn!

I’m thinking approximately $20–$25 per class.

These would be smaller, casual classes and a fun way for us to create together without you ever having to leave home. 💜
