A Heartfelt Farewell & A New Chapter for Sid’s Patisserie
Hey guys! I’m posting today to share some bittersweet news. After a long winter and a lot of reflection, I’ve decided to pause Sid’s Patisserie as you know it. We won’t be popping up anywhere this summer, and the business will be officially winding down for this next chapter.
To my community: Thank you to everyone who supported me throughout these amazing years. Whether you stopped by just to chat, bought a single cookie, or picked up bread weekly—your support truly means the world to me. I’ve loved telling you my story and, more importantly, listening to yours.
To the business owners who hosted me, the markets that welcomed me, and the friends and family who helped me build my kitchen and source ingredients: I appreciate you more than words can say.
What’s next for ? This page started as a way to showcase what I was making in school, and it’s going back to those roots! I have an amazing opportunity to move across the country to Washington state, where I’ll be continuing to grow my skills as a baker and pastry chef.
I believe that closing this chapter now will give me the space to grow bigger and better. I’m taking this time to learn everything I can so that when the time is right, I can finally open my dream bakery and coffee shop.
I can’t wait to start posting regularly again to show you everything I’m learning and creating in the Pacific Northwest.
One Last Chance! I couldn’t leave without one final goodbye. You can find me at the Mitza Creek Farm’s Plant Sale with all your favorites (bagels, challah, cookies, granola, and more!):
* Dates: May 7th – May 9th
* Time: 9-2
* Location: Mitza Creek Farm
I truly hope to see you all there so I can thank you in person!
With love and gratitude, Sid
