I’ve always been independent, working hard to run my own small businesses and keep moving forward. That changed when my health led to an emergency hospital stay and five days in intensive care.

I’m home now, but recovery is ongoing. I’m still facing treatment, medications, follow-up examinations, and medical bills, while trying to return to work and rebuild my income. Housing and essential living expenses also continued while I was too sick to work
