Did you know that natural cocoa powder is actually acidic? 🍫✨
When cocoa undergoes Dutch-processing (alkalization) with potassium carbonate, it neutralizes that acidity—deepening the color and creating a smoother, dark chocolate flavor.
Black Cocoa Powder takes alkalizing a step further later in processing. This turns the powder pitch black with zero food dye while removing all bitterness and acidity, leaving behind a mild, earthy, smoky flavor—the exact taste that gives Oreos their signature profile! 🖤

Anyone else love to listen to music when they cook, bake, or wash dishes? Anytime I am working in the kitchen I always have music playing on my mini speaker. I'm singing & dancing and most definitely annoying my neighbors.

This tiny measuring cup is the best!!! I needed One and a Half Tablespoons of Vanilla Extract, which I'm using Vanilla Bean Paste in this case.
I was able to measure out that 1/2 Tablespoon without trying to fill my actual measuring spoon halfway; getting too little or too much.
(Yes, I could have used my scale but this is FUN!)
