Mac Bakes

A local cottage bakery, we enjoy serving up baked goods to Grand Traverse and Wexford County. Michaela Murphy has always loved cooking and baking!

What started off as a bread baking hobby turned into a professional baker's position at a local cafe in Beaver, PA. When she relocated back home to Michigan it was a natural transition to start her own baking company from home! Mac was a nickname given to her in high school and has stuck with her all these years, so naming her company Mac Bakes was a natural fit!

Hey all! Sorry for the Hiatus! Now that comfort food season has slowed down a little bit I will be doing monthly bakes. I'm gauging interest for orders for Cinnamon Rolls and Apple Pie Rolls for this Saturday. This likely may be the last Apple Pie Roll order opportunity until Apple Season picks up in September because my supply of Boiled Apple Cider is dwindling. Comment below if you would want to order something for Saturday/Sunday.

I was pulling this beautiful cinnamon Babka out of the pan today and I said “Be nice!” My 7 year old said “What?” To which my husband quickly replied “Mama’s talking to the bread.” I then giggled and explained I was telling the bread to be nice to me and not stick to the pan 😂 So yes…. I talk to the things I bake for you all and tell them to do what they’re supposed to 😂😂😂
