Elk Rapids Farmers Market Temporarily Relocates for Harbor Days

Elk Rapids, MI – The Elk Rapids Farmers Market will temporarily relocate for Harbor Days to accommodate the setup of Arnold Amusements' carnival rides in the Cedar Street parking lot.

On Friday, August 7, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Farmers Market will be located on River Street between Dexter and Cedar Streets. Visitors can expect the same outstanding selection of fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, artisan products, and locally made goods from their favorite vendors.

In addition, the Harbor Days Arts & Crafts Show will be held on River Street from Cedar Street to Spruce Street from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., featuring talented artists, handcrafted items, and unique gifts.

With both events taking place in downtown Elk Rapids, motorists and visitors should expect increased pedestrian traffic throughout the day. Temporary signage will be in place, and event staff will be available to assist with traffic flow and directions.

The Elk Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce encourages everyone to use caution while traveling through the downtown area, watch for pedestrians, and follow all posted traffic signs to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for residents and visitors alike.

We appreciate the community's patience and cooperation as we welcome everyone downtown for a memorable weekend of festivities.
