Every Wednesday, Cades Cove closes to vehicles.

And the burden of keeping Townsend hydrated falls on one woman.

Her name is Flo.

Free. Filtered. Electrolyte-enhanced. And carrying the hydration needs of Cades Cove cyclists on her shoulders, one refill at a time.

It’s a heavy responsibility—but somebody has to do it.
