🍞 Did you know you can freeze your sourdough bread? 🥖

One of the best things about sourdough is that you can enjoy it long after bake day! ❤️

Life gets busy, and sometimes you can’t finish a whole loaf before it starts to dry out. The good news? Sourdough freezes beautifully! It’s an easy, convenient way to always have your favorite bread on hand.

✨ Here’s how to freeze your sourdough:

🍞 For whole loaves: Let your bread cool completely, then wrap it tightly in plastic wrap or foil and place it in a freezer-safe bag, removing as much air as possible.

🍞 For easy everyday use: Slice your loaf before freezing! Place the slices in a freezer-safe bag so you can grab just what you need. Pop a frozen slice straight into the toaster for a quick breakfast or snack.

❄️ How long does it last? For the best flavor and texture, enjoy your frozen sourdough within 2–3 months. It can remain safe beyond that if continuously frozen, but quality may decline over time.

🔥 Ready to enjoy it again?
• Slices can go straight from the freezer into the toaster.
• Let a whole loaf thaw at room temperature in its wrapping to help retain moisture.
• Want that fresh-baked crust back? Warm the thawed loaf in a 350°F oven for about 10–15 minutes.

💛 My favorite tip: Keep a loaf or two in the freezer for those busy weeks when you run out of bread between bake days!

Fresh-milled sourdough is too good to waste, and freezing makes it easy to enjoy every last slice.

I’ll be offering a Steubenville/Wintersville drop point this Saturday!

📍 Location: Goodwill parking lot
⏰ Time: 11 AM (for now — let me know if this time doesn’t work for you!)

If you’d like to order for this week and pick up at the Steubenville/Wintersville drop, you have two options:

👉 Message me directly and let me know you want to be included in the drop.

👉 Order through our website and, in the Order Notes, write “Steubenville/Wintersville Drop.” This lets me know where you’d like to pick up your order.
