Well friends… this is NOT the post I wanted to make. 🥯💔

After being away from the market for 4 weeks, the bagel withdrawals are very, very real. I miss the dough. I miss the oven. I miss seeing everyone on the green. I even miss the controlled chaos of trying not to sell out in 48 minutes. 😂

But unfortunately, Bubba is sick — and as much as I would love to be back baking for you all this weekend, I can’t in good conscience make food to sell while under the weather.

So we’re going to sit this weekend out, rest up, and come back when we can do it safely and properly.

Thank you all for understanding, supporting our little cottage bakery, and continuing to cheer us on even when life says, “No bagels for you this week.” 😭🥯

We miss you, Tolland Green Market. We’ll be back as soon as we can. ❤️

🌼🐝 This week’s Bee’s Knees special for the Tolland Green Market is here! 🐝🌼

After last week’s Street Corn bagels disappeared in about 15 minutes (and we heard plenty of “I should’ve bought more!”), we’re bringing another new flavor to the market…

🔥🍯 Hot Honey Cheddar 🍯🔥

Our classic New York-style bagel loaded with sharp cheddar and finished warm with a brush of sweet-and-spicy hot honey.

Sweet. Savory. Just a little kick.

As always, quantities are limited, and preorders are encouraged!

Yes… elote… in bagel form.
Think sweet corn, big flavor, and all the fun, savory goodness inspired by classic Mexican street corn. This one is brand new and I have a feeling it’s going to go FAST. If there was ever a week to get here early, this is it.

🌧️ BAGEL EMERGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT 🌧️

Friends… we have officially been out-rained. ☔🥯

As many of you know, Sundays are our happy place at the Tolland Green Market — but tomorrow’s forecast is looking less “bagels in the sunshine” and more “artisan soup.”

When the annual pancake breakfast gets cancelled… and even the Memorial Day parade waves the white flag… you know Mother Nature means business.

So unfortunately, we won’t be at the market tomorrow. Trust me — I considered tiny raincoats for the bagels, but management said no.

We’ll miss seeing all your familiar faces, hearing “I’ll just take a half dozen” turn into “actually make it two,” and watching flavors disappear at record speed.

Stay dry, stay cozy, and maybe honor the occasion by eating carbs indoors.

We’ll be back next Sunday — hopefully with sunshine, bagels, and significantly less weather-related betrayal. ❤️🥯

Thanks for always supporting our little bagel operation. You’re the reason we keep boiling and baking.

WOW. You guys are unbelievable. ❤️🥯

First off HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all you moms, dog moms and according to my daughter "Stuffie Moms" because after all shes a "mom" to about 197,000 stuffies! And to my beautiful wife Nicole Hackner-Glass you are the glu"ten" that holds this family dough together!

We sold out at the Tolland Green Market today in just 48 minutes… yes, I was watching the clock that closely 😂

And our NEW flavor? Gone in FIFTEEN minutes. Fifteen!!

As a small home-based cottage bakery, seeing this kind of support from our local community honestly means everything to us. What started as a passion project in our kitchen has grown because of YOU — the early risers, the regulars, the people who tell their friends, and everyone who waits patiently in line for fresh bagels on a Sunday morning.

THANK YOU for showing up for local small businesses like ours. We truly love being part of this community.
