Got to really challenge ourselves to do something beautiful, dark and unique. This gorgeous wedding cake was for Savannah Compton. It was a rustic black cocoa cake, with strawberry buttercream and raspberry jelly. Topped off with a blackberry puree and adorned with fresh fruit and luster to help punch up the colors. I've been excited to do this cake from the moment it was pitched to me. It really means a lot that two of the best cakes we've got to put forward have both been for weddings where friends put a lot of trust in us to get in right. Pressure makes diamonds, thanks for letting us shine.
