I miss all your faces!!

Virginia Beach has been so good to me, but Durham is where it all started- with all of you!

I'm back for the weekend and I had to stop in and get lunch . It saddens me to be here and not be delivering gourmet filled cupcakes for you all. What do you all think about a pop-up 1 weekend? Maybe in October?

I had the honor or creating the couple's cutting and guest cakes for Tabitha and Brandon's wedding celebration last weekend in Raleigh! I enjoyed meeting everyone across the table while cutting and serving the slices to their guests.

So excited to have been invited to be a vendor with Suffolk Parks & Recreation Festival of Lights! If you don't see me at the Olde Towne Portsmouth Farmers Market from 10 am-2 pm, come out after your days errands! Treat yourself to amazing treats and take them with you for visiting guests (or keep them for your midnight snack).

A little introduction to Taylor Street Sweets.

Taylor Street Sweets is a gourmet cottage bakery based in Suffolk, Virginia (2024) that originally opened in Timberlake, North Carolina in 2016. Specializing in Filled & Fancy Cupcakes (voted Top 4 Best Cupcake in the Triangle - Indy Week 2019), Filled & Fancy celebration cakes, crumb cakes, brownies, and a variety of cookies and cookie sandwiches. 

Using only plant-based, organic and/or Non-GMO ingredients, and offering treats made with GF ingredients, there is absolutely no excuse to not indulge your sweet tooth.

Lemon Bomb- Brite lemon sponge filled with lemon curd, frosted with lemon buttercream and garnished with a lemon drizzle and shortbread cookie sandwich

Red Velvet- Rouge cocoa sponge paired with cheezecake filling, frosted with creamcheeze buttercream, and garnished with caramel drizzle, cake crumbs, and white chips

La Mort- Decadent chocolate sponge filled with chocolate ganache, frosted with chocolate buttercream,  and garnished with chocolate drizzle, dusting of cocoa, and mini chocolate bar

Carrot Cake- Spiced carrot cake paired with cheezecake filling, creamcheeze buttercream, and garnished with caramel drizzle, spiced sugar, carrot dusting, and candied pecans

Special order can be picked up on Saturday (December 21) at the Olde Towne Farmers Market in Portsmouth, VA from 10 am - 12 pm and Sunday (December 22) in Suffolk, VA from 11 am - 11:30 am.
