If you only know me from cookies, you might not know that in addition to being CEO of the Stieve household, I have also been pursuing my masters degree in School Counseling since June of 2023! Last week, I started my new position as a school counselor at a local elementary school, so I’m taking an indefinite pause on making cookies.

I began this baking journey by watching countless YouTube videos on decorating and icing consistency. There were many test batches that Alex graciously ate before deciding on my perfect cookie and icing recipe. I make cookies because they bring people joy. I’m still doing that, but in a different way as a school counselor.

I’m sure you’ll still see my cookies around from time to time, but I will not be taking any custom orders.

I don’t know if this says more about me as a perfectionist or me as a wife of a professional paper maker, but the coffee sleeves for this Rhinelander coffee shop are made of natural paper, so I used some black cocoa powder to make them look like natural paper.

Any guesses where you can find these cookies this weekend? They are one of the best in the area!

Some bunny sweet is eight! Charlee got a bunny for her birthday, so her mom requested a bunny birthday set to celebrate. I’ve been really into watercolor cookies recently, which worked great when trying to match her bunny (see last picture).

It’s been a year since I started my business! At the end of October, 2023, I was like, “Hey, I like making cookies. I’ll bake for you if you want!” It turns out people did want cookies, and I’ve loved creating sweet treats for all of you! Thank you all for the overwhelming support! I’m excited to see what I’ll be baking for you this year.
