My Story

Hello! Welcome to Chrissy’s Keto Confections. My name is Chrissy. October 2016, I started eating low carb. After doing a lot of research and joining several low carb facebook groups, I quickly found keto and was on my way into Ketosis. I felt great! Inflammation went away, I had more energy, and lost 40 pounds! I learned a lot about myself, including that I am gluten intolerant.

Very early in my keto lifestyle, I learned to read nutrition labels. It was very frustrating! There is sugar added to so many foods, even ones you would never think sugar would be added. I felt surrounded by hidden sugar! I realized that I need to cook fresh foods and meal prep if I was going to be successful. That is when I realized that I really enjoy cooking and especially keto baking!

There are a lot of negative impacts of eating sugar and it is addictive. I have heard so many stories where someone “fell off the wagon” due to caving into sugar laden foods. Especially at events and holidays. I know people who are keto for severe health reasons. Falling off the wagon is not an option for them. Those stories and my love of keto baking have brought me here. I have made it my mission to bring healthy, sugar free sweets to the community. :)

Please note that I am not a medical or nutritional professional. I recommend you consult with your doctor before starting any diet or exercise program. I provide basic nutritional information for my bakery items. I remove erythritol from the final carb count and net carb count, as it does not affect my own blood glucose levels. Please keep in mind that some may be sensitive to erythritol and it could increase blood glucose levels.
