We had some very special guests stop by the bakery today! 🦅

It was a pleasure welcoming Carter Collins, Georgia Southern Men’s Golf Coach (and one of Claxton’s own!), along with Charlie Henry, Georgia Southern Men’s Basketball Coach.

There's nothing like a Claxton Fruit Cake to fuel up for a big season. We’re proud to support our local coaches and the entire Georgia Southern University athletic department. ! 🍰🏀⛳️

Today in band history, Georgia Southern College, Hanner Field House, Statesboro, Georgia, January 7, 1971, photos taken by Conrad Vogel for an article in the student newspaper, 𝐺𝑒𝑜𝑟𝑔𝑒-𝐴𝑛𝑛𝑒.

And what did they open the show with? You guessed it! A searing "Statesboro Blues," and according to a fan who was there, Duane said: "Well, I think this one is a bit apropos.”

"Wake up, Mama, turn your lamp down low..." 🍄
