I'm still processing the little miracle that happened yesterday. This read is a little long but such a special story, I have to share. Losing our Beau 🐱 right before our move to this current house 9 years ago was so hard, he passed suddenly of a heart attack the very day before we closed and moved into this house. We had to bury him at Carl's mom's house and the kids were devastated. They randomly chose the dragonfly as his special symbol and put a little ceramic one on his grave. After months of settling in here we realized a connection, there was a large dragonfly door knocker on our front door which we had never connected the dots on before. Back then it felt like a hug from him telling us he was still with us and followed us here. When we replaced our front door, I made sure to save that door knocker and we still have it up in the chicken coop area. (We even saved the wooden front door and that is what we made our farm stand counter and backdrop out of.) Well yesterday, during inspections for our next chapter and new home, I came across this dragonfly hanger on a random bathroom wall. It doesn't match anything else in the house for decor, but it matches our hearts, it is even the exact same hanger I have for gift bags on my farm stand. We love you and miss you always, Beau. Thanks for checking in on us, it's comforting to know you're waiting for us at the new place!
