I am so proud of Apollo. He got his first assignment flying a sleigh for the North Pole Post Office. You see, reindeer don't get to fly the big sleigh on Christmas Eve until they gain experience flying the other sleighs necessary to run the North Pole. We have sleighs that shuttle emeralds, rubies, gold and silver from our secret mines in Sri Lanka that we create our stunning decorations from. Others fly around gathering letters addressed to me from around the world on behalf of the North Pole Post Office. Others collect various resources used to construct much needed infrastructure here at the biosphere. These assignments help build the strength and speed reindeer must have if they are to make my team. Apollo is one of our strongest young bucks but even he is very tired from his first experience. Oh, I'm sure he'll recover quickly and be stronger than ever. I believe I'll save his first letter so I'll remember this day forever....
